Staking Application
The Aventus Network takes over from the former release — the Aventus Protocol — and is the first step towards the full rollout of the AvN. The full three-stage rollout is described in the terms and conditions of the Validator Registration Program.
AVT holders have the opportunity to act as transaction validators for any of 10 AvN nodes. In exchange, the Validator Smart Contract (Ethereum validator registration smart contract) will let validators withdraw their proportional share of transaction fees earned on a monthly basis.
The first 8.5m transactions are all being on boarded at $0.01 per transaction paid in AVT as fees with another 10m historic transactions and live transactions going through the network with various fees associated.
AVT validator registration is now open. It’s quick and easy. To become a validator, simply fill out the short form below and follow the ‘How To’ guide.
IMPORTANT: Terms and conditions apply. AVT sent to the smart contract with invalid registration data may be unrecoverable.
Block Explorer
The Aventus Network (AvN) is public and transparent which means that anyone can observe the traffic — just like they can with Ethereum or Bitcoin. To explore the latest transactions, associated fees, and validators, simply use Block Explorer.
Governance
Voting
The Aventus Foundation finances the development of the Aventus Network. Once the network is fully rolled out, it will be wholly governed by the Aventus community through the community governance platform, providing Aventus Token (AVT) holders with full control over major decisions about the network.
In future, all decisions about parameters, chain configuration and upgrades related to the Aventus Network (AvN) and AVT will be decided by a binding community vote of AVT holders.
There are two ways to vote on a proposal. You can either vote on our Ethereum-compatible governance platform or vote on an Aventus-compatible governance platform. The platform you vote on depends on where your AVT currently is.
In order to vote on a proposal, you must have been holding or staking at least 1 AVT token at the time that the proposal was published. This means that if you attempt to vote on a proposal where the block number configured is in the past, and you were not holding or staking the required token back then, your vote will not be counted.
Please note that if you have staked all of your AVT on the Aventus Mainnet, you can still vote by using the Aventus-compatible governance platform.
There are 10 million AVT in circulating supply, with 2.5 million of these staked on the Network currently.
Gateway
API
The Aventus Gateway API enables businesses and enterprises to build blockchain applications and run live transactions on the Aventus Network (AvN) with ease. With the Gateway API, businesses that build their applications on the Aventus Network will benefit from the speed, scalability and cost-efficiency of the AvN framework, which is also fully interoperable with other blockchain ecosystems.
Aventus
Improvement
Proposals
Aventus Improvement Proposals (AIPs) describe the standards for the Aventus Ecosystem, including core protocol specifications and processes. These AIPs are technical communication processed off-chain and recognised formally. This is not a substitute for the governance process, but it is a collection of sound and forward-thinking solutions and functionalities for the network. However, they do not represent a commitment of any form towards existing projects.
