📣 Announcing a new partnership with Scytale Ventures to boost Aventus Polkadot Parachain plans 📣

As reported first by CoinDesk, the goal of this new partnership is to help bring business-friendly blockchain apps to the Polkadot network.

“The Aventus partnership with Scytale Ventures includes a sizable grant of DOT, the native token of the Polkadot network.”

“Scytale’s Horizon Fund II took a significant position in the native token of Aventus (AVT) as a vote of confidence in the project.”

Aventus CEO Alan Vey explained, “it (the partnership) may be one of Polkadot’s first takes on enterprise blockchain.”

AVT Staking Withdrawal: Two Options

Dear stakers,

The staking program is now 99.9999% full and the AvN Gateway will soon be going live.

Many of you have been earning staking transaction fees for as much as 12 months now, with a total of 144,125 AVT earned to date from a total of 11.86m transactions — with a further 45m agreed yet to process.

As a staker, you now have two options for withdrawing both your original stake and your share of earned rewards:

1. Receive your full AVT stake and rewards to Ethereum, or…
2. Receive your full AVT stake and rewards over the Aventus Network

It is important to note that choosing to receive your tokens over Ethereum will be subject to Ethereum gas fees.

The new staking model will go live in April with no limit to the total AVT you can stake.

Therefore it will be possible for those who keep their AVT on the AvN to compound their staking rewards by re-staking their initial stake plus earned rewards to date.

Stakers will receive an email with details later in the week.

Official Governance Voting Launch Next Week

Next week, we are launching community voting on organisations that have applied to run AvN Validator Nodes and are moving to Nominated Proof of Stake following the polkadot launch roadmap.

Stakers will receive one vote per token to choose which organisations will be accepted to run Validator Nodes.

Voting will last for 14 days and is scheduled to end before the end of March.

Today, 8th of March, is a day where we celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women —as well as raise awareness against bias & take action for equality.

AVT Staking Program Now 99.9% Full

The Aventus staking program lets stakers earn their share of more than 58m agreed transactions.

Following the recent Coinbase listing news, the Staking program is now 99.9% full.

As mentioned above, stakers can choose between Ethereum Network withdrawals or cheaper Aventus Network withdrawals.

Next, we are moving to Nominated Proof of Stake following the polkadot launch roadmap.
