As part of our mission to make interacting with the Aventus Network as easy and decentralised as possible, we have today launched a new lifting tool, which allows AVT holders to move AVT from Ethereum to the Aventus Network (AvN).
Via this tool, AVT holders can move AVT from layer 1 (Ethereum) to layer 2 (the AvN) easily and autonomously. While lifting AVT was previously possible, the process required interaction with a smart contract on Etherscan – which involved numerous steps, a degree of technical knowledge, and relied on support from the Aventus team.
You can learn more about the new dApp here.
It’s been a busy two weeks here at Aventus. So we’re holding an AMA, where Aventus Founder & Chairman Alan Vey will be answering all your questions.
The AMA will take place this Friday 12 August at 2:30pm BST on our Telegram channel.
From our new lifting dApp to our Parachain bid, share your questions via this Google Form ahead of Friday and Alan will answer them during the AMA.
We’re excited to have been named one of the UK’s 38 most innovative Ethereum companies by Chain News, alongside our friends at Parity. You can find the full article here.
In our July TECHtalk, Aventus Developer Relations Engineer Emmanuel Ngubo was joined by Software Engineer Thanos Doukoudakis, to explore all things Parachain, including what a Parachain is, the process of becoming a Parachain, how the AvN will integrate with Polkadot and more.
If you missed it, you can catch up here.
If you’ve been following Aventus’ journey from the start, you’ll know that we started as a ticketing protocol, aiming to address the issue of fraud and scalping within the live ticketing industry with blockchain.
We’ve expanded our use cases far beyond this since then, but it’s still a pleasure to see Aventus cited in this article by French-Canadian publication Le Devoir on the topic.
We’re excited to announce that over 20 million transactions have now been processed on the Aventus Network! One step closer to our goal of 1 billion…
We’re still looking to fill the following roles across tech and marketing:
